Pastas sanfonadas - Accordion Folders

     Às vezes sinto vontade de fazer algo diferente de patchwork, mas não consigo me afastar muito dos paninhos... Nessas horas faço cartonagem! São papeis, cola e tecidos que acabam virando caixas, porta-joias e... pastas sanfonadas. 

     Sometimes I feel like doing something different from patchwork but I can't stay away from fabrics... In these occasions I do cartonnage! They are paper, glue and fabrics that end up becoming boxes and... accordin folders.

     Estas eu fiz para minhas amigas Miyoko e Beth. A mais alegre e colorida foi  pra Miyoko,  e a mais discreta pra Beth. Penso que podem ser úteis para guardar projetos de patchwork, moldes, riscos para bordados, etc...

These I've made for my friends Miyoko and Beth. I've handed the most lively and colorful folder to Miyoko and the discreet one for Beth. I think they may be useful to keep patchwork projects, embroidery patterns, etc.. 

      Depois de tanto tempo sem aparecer por aqui, hoje arrumei um tempo para postar ... Andei fazendo algumas coisas e para este post escolhi um porta-vinho que fiz para o André, um grande apreciador de vinhos e queijos.

      O André adorou e agora só falta ele trazer um vinho (ou mais) pra gente degustar!

After a long time without showing up here today I’ve found some time to post ... I've been doing a few things and for this post I’ve chosen a wine tote bag which I made for André a great lover of wine and cheese.

I followed the tutorial from Kate S. who kindly shared on her blog Needle and Spatula, thanks Kate!

André loved it and now he must bring us a bottle (or more) of wine for tasting!
